Amanda Slinger

Amanda founded Industrial Safe in 1996 and has combined her mining, OH&S and business management experience to successfully steer the Company through its emergence as a leading provider of OH&S project management solutions to the Australian minerals and resources industry.
Amanda has over 20 years experience in the resources industry in Australia and overseas, and at all stages of a mining project, from pre-feasibility to closure. She has worked across a wide range of commodities, including iron ore, nickel, gold, diamonds, emeralds, uranium and vanadium. Amanda worked as Principal Consultant to LionOre through the feasibility, development, and operations across its nickel and gold operations. She was engaged by Precious Metals Australia to prepare the Project Management Plan for the re-development of the Windimurra Vanadium Project and worked with PMA as Principal Consultant through feasibility and construction. More recently Amanda has been working with BC Iron on the feasibility, development and construction of the Nullagine Iron Ore Project. Prior to founding Industrial Safe, Amanda worked for Outokumpu at it’s Forrestania Nickel Project in Western Australia, spent 3 years in the Zambian copper-belt and emerald fields, and worked as a Registered Nurse and Sister-in-Charge of Paraburdoo District Hospital.
Amanda is also a Director of Fluro, a provider of engaging on-line OH&S training courses. The philosophy of the business is to address the obstacles of distance and time to deliver engaging on-line training that results in lasting occupational health and safety knowledge and skills.

Rebecca Niebler

Safety Training Developer / OHS Consultant
Graduated Leuphana University, Lueneburg (Germany), 2005
Since graduating with a degree in business psychology, majoring in health and safety, Rebecca has specialised in the mining and resources industry. Her experience ranges from exploration safety through to project development and operational safety management. With a background in organisational psychology, Rebecca has a strong understanding of the behavioural aspects to safety management. Rebecca’s role at Industrial Safe is to lead instructional design and development of specialised e-learning training for accredited training courses.

Beth Ferguson

HR Coordinator
Graduated Deakin University Melbourne, 2003
Beth joined the Industrial Safe team in May 2010 as HR Coordinator. Beth graduated from Deakin University Melbourne in 2003 with a Bachelor of Health Science and has over seven years of HR and recruitment experience across a diverse range of industry sectors both in Australia and the United Kingdom. Beth was previously with iinet and Barclays Global Investors. As HR Coordinator, Beth is a valuable asset to the Industrial Safe team, coordinating the assignment and welfare of our Field Teams and client requirements.

Haylee Edwards
BSc (Health and Safety)
Senior OHS Consultant
Graduated Curtin University, 2005
Haylee has over seven years experience in occupational health and safety and has a wide range of experience in the mining and resources Industry. Haylee graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor Of Science, majoring in health and safety and has since worked for both mining principals and contractors on Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton, Chevron, BC Iron, CBH, and WMC project sites in both construction and mining operation environments in Australia.
Since joining the Industrial Safe team in October 2010, Haylee has managed exploration, mining construction and operations projects. Haylee specialises in the design and auditing of safety management systems, contractor safety management, and project management. Haylee also provides internal support to our Client’s OHS departments by performing site inspections, risk management reviews, OHS database management, monthly corporate reporting, and developing training packages to ensure clients and their contractors are meeting legislative and best practice standards.

Robyn Murphy
Accounts Manager
Robyn has over 15 years experience in payroll and accounts and previously worked for Blue Seas Perling, BP Kununurra, Sipa Resources, Shell Australia, and WMC. Robyn joined the Industrial Safe team in 2010 and is a valuable member of our team, managing and monitoring the accounts functions of the business.

Kristy Merks

Kristy has over 12 years experience in business development and finance management, including mining and medical industries. Since joining Industrial Safe in 2003, Kristy has developed business management and accounting systems. Kristy’s organisational and business administration skills have been integral to the successful and sustainable growth of the business.

Marko Kovacevic

OHS Graduate
Graduated Curtin University, 2010
Since graduating in 2010, Marko worked at BHP Billiton’s Worsley Alumina refinery where he assisted with incident investigations and OHS auditing. Marko joined the Industrial Safe team in 2011 as an OHS Graduate and provides valuable support to the Industrial Safe consulting team.
